This scholarship is intended to support trainees enrolled in Cityoga’s 55 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training who are committed to bringing restorative, trauma-informed practices to underserved or historically excluded communities.

  • Who it’s for

    Certified yoga instructors who plan to use Yin Yoga as a tool for community healing—especially in places where restorative, trauma-informed practices are lacking.

  • What it includes

    • Full or partial scholarship toward Cityoga’s 55hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training (award amounts vary depending on available funding)

    • Access to Heartland’s Prop Lending Program after training

    • Opportunities to collaborate on future Yin-centered community offerings

  • Prerequisites

    • Applicants must be, at minimum, 200 hr RYT

    • Applicants must first have anpplied for Cityoga’s 55 hour Yin Yoga training before applying for this scholarship.
